Spanish was not my First Language

Our visit to South America was amazing!

There were lots of victories and many literal obstacles:

- unexpected emotions being in South America due to

previous dreams

- unexpected complete immersion in Spanish so that I was

dreaming in Spanish

- unexpected pleasure seeing Maria Jose (after 7 years)

and enjoying the Hispanic family culture which is so lovely

and warm!

- unexpected ability to speak my entire talk in Spanish to

the Soroptimist women in Ibarra. 90% of the members

came to hear me and I stumbled but they graciously

helped me with new mountain climbing words!
